What do you love about the town your home is in? I love Windsor because it has a small town feel, yet is convenient to Hartford and West Hartford. The town green is very quaint and they flood it in the winter for skating. In the warm weather craft fairs and concerts are held there.If you are in a neighborhood, what great things do you do there? My neighborhood is very quiet, has great neighbors and a diverse population.
My favorite restaurants around this home are?* Taste of India, Bart's Drive In, Bears BBQ, Windsor 75 Diner, Dom's Broad St. Eatery, Nate Hayden's Real Pit BBQ, Wilson Pizza...just to name a few!
Grocery stores I love to shop at * Price Rite for great produce and wonderful prices! Price Chopper for selection.
Why people should move to this area; why I/we were attracted? * It is on a bus route, convenient to highways and shopping, less than 15 minutes to the airport.
Any great schools or other things to mention? * The school system is rated well. The Middle school just won "Middle School of the Year" for all of CT in Oct.
Anything else you can think of to attract a potential buyer? * The back yard is bordered by woods which makes it very private....and you can rake the leaves back there!!
What did you do for interests and hobbies near to the property? * The CT river is about 1/2 mile away. The neighborhood is flat for bike riding. The Windsor Historic District is about 1 1/2 miles away. The Vintage Radio and Communications Museum is in town.
What has been upgraded since you moved in? Driveway was recently sealed. New carpeting recently installed in all but 1 bedroom.
