Let's hear what the owners have to say:

What do you love about the town your home is in?
There's an awesome small town feel to Collinsville, while still maintaining easy access to larger towns/cities such as Torrington and Hartford.

There is a strong sense of community in Collinsville; we've always felt strong pride in our town, enjoying community events such as the annual Halloween parade, the Christmas in Collinsville champagne walk, the farmer's market, the public pool, and musical acts at Mills Pond in the summer.

If you are in a neighborhood, what great things do you do there?
The Lobster Loop 5k runs by our house and we gather to watch and cheer on runners. We are also walking distance from schools, the library, the biking trail, Mills pond, the baseball fields, indoor minigolf, and the local parades.

My favorite restaurants around this home are?*
We love the in-town restaurants, especially LaSalle for breakfast/lunch/open mic night and Francesca's for a night out (the arancini balls are delicious!). Old Saybrook Fishhouse is also a nice evening out.

Grocery stores I love to shop at *
We prefer Marandinos/Shoprite for quick stops, but the Super Stop and Shop and Freshmarket (both on 44 in Avon) for larger purchases.

Why people should move to this area; why I/we were attracted? *
The community feel is what most appeals to us. We also appreciate the arts and Collinsville has long been established as an artist community. That said, Collinsville continues to add to the artistic profile with the recent growth of Bridge Street Live as a blues venue, the establishment of a theater program in the center of town,  and art galleries sprinkled around.

Any great schools or other things to mention? *
The schools are outstanding and we appreciate the recent accolades of the music program.

Anything else you can think of to attract a potential buyer? *
There is always something to do in town, unlike the isolated feel of other small towns. We are even looking to continue to stay in the area because we love the history and charm.

Listed as one of the top 100 small towns in America.
